Dead Zone Ashfall Reach Cinders fall upward in the gravity eddies. Combine survey teams mark it as worthless and keep coming back. Dead Zone Obsidian Shelf Glassed planets stacked like plates on a shelf. Something here was tidied away very carefully. Dead Zone · 2 dig sites The Ossuary Bone-white wreckage drifts in slow orbits. Dominion pilgrims come here to choose their next hull.

Nebula4

Nebula Mirefen A brackish cloud of organics and old engine wash. Collective scouts and Confederacy prospectors both claim it. Nebula · 1 dig site Pale Regatta Wraith-lights race each other through the dust. Those who follow them arrive somewhere, eventually. Nebula · 1 dig site Tithe of Bones A violet nebula that hums at the edge of hearing. Sensor logs from inside it contain voices with no crew attached. Nebula · 2 dig sites Verdant Choir A green nebula seeded with spores the size of cities. The Collective calls it a nursery. Visitors call it a throat.

Stellar Nursery3

Stellar Nursery · 2 dig sites Lantern Deep A nursery of blue stars lit like a hall prepared for guests. The Ancients built something here, and it is still waiting. Stellar Nursery · 1 dig site Sol A young yellow star and a very old fortress asleep in its shadow. The beginning of every Lord Captain. Stellar Nursery · 2 dig sites Sporefall Living reefs drift between young suns and drink their light. Hulls left here overnight come back furred.

Void4

Void · 1 dig site Halcyon Wake A calm stretch of void left behind by something enormous that passed through and did not stop. Void Kepler's Gate A gate with no ring. Ships pass through a place where a ring used to be, and the void remembers the shape. Void · 1 dig site Meridian Drift A slow river of derelicts flowing toward the core. Salvagers ride it inward and pray they can climb back out. Void The Quiet Sea An emptiness so complete that ships report hearing their own reactors breathe.
